BE Civil is a four year (8 semesters) academic program launched in 2008, affiliated with Pokhara University. Civil engineering is the oldest branch of engineering which is growing right from the stone age of civilization.Civil engineers design, build, supervise, operate, and maintain construction projects and systems in the public and private sector, including roads, buildings, airports, tunnels, dams, bridges, and systems for water supply and sewage treatment. “Civil engineering is the area in which a wide knowledge of the mathematics and physical sciences gained by study, experience and practice is applied with judgment to develop ways to utilize economically the materials and forces of the nature for the progressive well being of man.”This degree will equip you to enter the civil or structural engineering professions, and, with further learning, allow you to become a Chartered Engineer. Civil Engineering incorporates application of mathematics and physical science furnished in experience for economic utilization of natural forces and resources for the batterment of mankind.

Department of Engineering is committed to excellence in teaching, research based project and inculcating a sense of pride and confidence in our students through the disciplined environment, individual, counseling, and motivation . Department also believes, Engineering education has triangular relationship among students with respective guardians. college administration with dedicated faculties and dynamic university with updated syllabus and proper evaluation system. Regular visit to the college identification of children area of interest and making plan making accountable for monitory activities are major suggestion to the parents. Similarly, making plan for the study, details discussion, identification of academic environment, result, laboratory, faculties etc. before taking admission are major suggestion to the students.
As a head of department, i assure to all the students and their guardians we will identify your potentiality and guide for successful engineer.
Thank You
